IN FLIGHT: Auckland rider Jess Wedlake flies off her Suzuki LTR 450 in spectacular fashion during round 3 of Gisborne Motorcycle Sports Club’s beach racing series at Makorori Beach yesterday. Wedlake was not injured. Her front bumper was damaged and was taken off, so she could resume racing. Hardy competitors defied the wintry weather, although it did affect spectator numbers.
