Harley Davis joined the list of feature race winners at an action-packed Eastland Kart Club’s third points meeting on Sunday.

A good-sized crowd were treated to some top-notch racing at the club’s Aerodrome Road track.

The feature race is a popular way to end meetings as it gives drivers from many classes the chance to race each other for bragging rights.

Fifteen starters lined up for Sunday’s 10-lap feature and Davies, in his 270 stationary-engine four-stroke, took the win from Luca Vita (KT), Seth Iremonger (KT) and Shanan Gooch (rotax).

Davies joined Iremonger (2 wins), Tara Whiteman, Daniel Taylor, Jake Callaghan and Gooch as feature race winners this season.

In the rookies class, Conrad Gooch had three wins, Savanna Prosser two second placings and a third, and Nixon Gooch a second and two thirds.

The young guns class had three winners — Brodie Gooch, Vincent MacGregor and Hamish Worsnop.

Each of them also had a second and third.

Aimee Whiteman collected two wins and a second in the women’s class. Nicola Iremonger picked up a win, a second and a third, Sharyn Rogers a second and a third, and Tessa Irvine a third placing.

Junior KT class wins went to Vita, Daniel Tamanui and Zavier Iremonger.

Koby Gooch and Vita each had seconds and this pair crossed the line together for joint second in the third race.

Zavier also had two thirds.

Pro class victories went to Cole Rosie, Barry Irvine and Davies.

In the KT heavies, Wayvern Vause won two races and Dion Lund the other.

Buck Rogers (2) and Lund had second placings, and Aaron Whiteman (2) and Vause had third placings.

Shanan Gooch won the first two races of the rotax class to take his season tally of wins to eight in a row at points meetings.

He was looking at number nine in the third race only to be denied by Roger Moss.

Shanan had to settle for second while Roger “Stirling” Moss chalked up two seconds and Ben Briant a trio of thirds.

The KT lights class racing resulted in wins to Toby White, Daniel Taylor and Spring Thompson.

Jack Callaghan, Thompson and Graeson Wells notched second placings, and Seth Iremonger, Mike Vita and Daniel Taylor third placings.
