In Game 1, GBHS led 26-14 and 39-35 before going into the fourth quarter 59-67 down.
In Game 2, they led from start to finish — 23-14, 43-29, 66-49.
Gisborne flattened Western Heights HS of Rotorua 106-57 this morning.
They led 25-10 at the end of the first period, 53-28 into the break and 85-39 by three-quartertime.
Guard Seth Miller led the scoring with 20 points, including three three-pointers.
Wilson (18) and Collier (17) also made shots from the perimeter.
These three, along with Patea-Taylor (15), Grayson (13) and Fern Maaka (10) combined to give Boys’ High six scorers in double figures for the first time this year.
Wilson said he and his team were capable of more and he was pleased with the output of his senior players .
