Tahuna Irwin-Ahlers will represent Darts Players New Zealand (DPNZ) Youth in the World Youth Championship in England in November.

Irwin-Ahlers, No.1 player with Brezz’n Darts Club, travelled the country competing in DPNZ tournaments last year, and this kept his youth ranking high.

FORD Falcons had too much strength and depth for Tigers in Brezz’n Darts Club Tuesday night competition this week.

Falcons took the match 11-4, scoring three 180s to the Tigers’ one along the way.

At the end of the pairs section, Falcons led 7-2, which left them needing just one more game to take the match.

Falcons’ Tahuna Irwin-Ahlers obliged, defeating Teretu Te Moananui 3-0.

Jordan Ngarangione continued the winning streak, defeating Willie Edwards 3-0, Harley Ngarangione defeated Leroy Eyles 3-0, and Antonio Curtis defeated Tipi Eyles 3-2 after being down two games.

However, Tigers anchors Hukanui Brown and Toby Ratapu saved face for their team with close wins against Sam Kirikino and Peter Tom respectively, both by 3-2 scorelines.
