Turanganui a Kiwa Dart Association’s 2019 winter league got under way on Tuesday night with Brezz’n Darts Club play.

This season the club has 14 teams competing — a great platform for those taking part in out-of-town and in-house tournaments.

A 15-game format was used in the grading-round games on Tuesday.

Reigning champions Ford Falcons may have defeated Ruahine Green 15-0 but Ruahine’s Ripeka Te Kira scored her first 180 of the season, and it was the only one in the match.

Falcons’ Tahuna Irwin scored the most 100s — 25.
