Match of the night was Puma's 8-7 win over SharksBrezz’n Darts Club’s Tuesday night winter league continued into Week 6 of the grading rounds with none of the teams giving an inch.

Match of the night was between home team Pumas and away team Sharks. Pumas won 8-7 in a contest that was close right to the last leg.

The pairs games were a lot tighter than the scores indicated, Pumas winning this section 5-4.

Sharks needed to lift their game in the singles. This they did, Curly Kerr defeating Jacob Larby 3-0 and Curly Waikari defeating Sonia Tom 3-0 for Sharks to take a 6-5 lead.

Pumas’ middle section players Kris Larby and Mikey Evans put a stop to Sharks’ roll, defeating Ken Lewis and Nikki-Jean Stevenson respectively, 3-0 in both games. That gave Pumas a 7-6 lead, which effectively gave them the match.

Sharks’ Missy Campbell defeated Ike Te Ahorangi 3-0 but Pumas won the other game as a result of a no-show by a Sharks player.
