Champion of champions triples titles were well spread among the Gisborne-East Coast centre's bowling clubs.

Tolaga Bay Bowling Club's Vern Marshall (skip), Marcus Merrick (director) and Murray Duncan (lead) won the senior men's title, while the Gisborne club's Dayvinia Mills (skip), Age Smiler (director) and Queenie Takurua (lead) won the senior women's.

Poverty Bay's Les Whittington (skip), John Andrews (director) and Dusty Miller (lead) won the junior men's title, while Te Karaka trio Diane Murray (skip), Barbara Tuhi (director) and Andrea Tuhi (lead) won the junior women's.
