HASTINGS’ goal is to return Central League football to the district. To achieve that aim the Jags have to win the Central Federation League this season, then win the promotion/relegation game.
“We had a good turnout tonight and I was pleased with the effort from all the players,” Hastings said.
“With three more players to come into the squad there’s plenty of competition for places. The Federation League doesn’t start until around April but it’s important we start now, working on fitness and skills.
“I want the players to put in some fitness work on their own so that leaves more time to concentrate on techinique, and working out a playing system that best suits the players.” Pictures by Paul Rickard
