HarriersGisborne Harrier Club’s inaugural Pub Run is on SATURDAY. The race starts and finishes at Patutahi Tavern (150 Seddon Street, Patutahi).

Competitors can walk or run; U12, 2 kilometres; U14/16, 3.4km; women/men, 7.2km. Adults, $5, children $2.

CyclingGISBORNE Cycling Club’s Lavenham circuit race is on SATURDAY. The sign on time is from 1.30pm to 1.50pm at Bushmere Arms, with a 2pm start.

SUNDAY — Group ride at 8am from Avantiplus Maintrax. This is a friendly group ride for anyone wanting to ride with others.The approximate pace will be 25kmh. All visitors and new cyclists welcome.

FootballSATURDAY — midday: Under-12 girls, Nelson Park 5, Gisborne v Hawke’s Bay.
