Saturday — Steve Wolter/Barry Hyland Summer Series, Race 5 (final race of series). Sign-on: 1.30pm to 1.50pm at Wainui School. Start: 2pm. Course: Wainui Beach School to Loisels turn-off (A/B Grade), C Grade turn at top of B5. Marshals: Rowan Clark, Ngaire Wolter. Visitors welcome.

Sunday — Group ride at 8am from Avantiplus Maintrax. This is a friendly group ride for anyone wanting to ride with others. Approximate pace will be 25kmh. Visitors and new cyclists welcome.

Tuesday — Aon Insurance Brokers Series, Race 8 (final race of series). Sign-on: 5.30pm to 5.50pm at top of Waimata Hill. Start: 6pm. Race: 24km. Marshal: Dave Hamilton. Visitors welcome.

Club cricket, DJ Barry Cup — Saturday, 1pm: Harry Barker Reserve rep wicket, Horouta v Landmark Homes OBR.

Hope Cup, Saturday, 2pm: HBR 3, Ngatapa v Coastal Ultrasound Horouta second 11; HBR 1, Bollywood Stars High School Old Boys Presidents; HBR 4, Gisborne Boys' High School Colts v Campion College.
