Saturday — Hill climb and road championships; sign on from 12.30pm to 12.50pm at the bottom of Gentle Annie (old gravel pit); start at 1pm (hill climb). The road race starts 30 minutes after the hill climb.

Tuesday — GCC criterium championships; sign on from 5.30pm to 5.50pm; at Kirkpatrick Road (south); 6pm start for first race.

RunningThursday — Race 7 of the Gisborne Harrier Club River Run Series. Registration from 5.30pm. The race starts at 6pm at the Marina carpark, Vogel Street. Distances are 2.5 kilometres and 5km on city walkways. Traffic-free. All welcome.

SoftballSaturday — Waikirikiri Park, MEN’S B final, 12 noon: D1, Tolaga Titans v GBHS 2. .

WOMEN’S final, 2pm: D1, Scorpions v Lytton Gems.

MEN’S A final, 4pm: D1, Spartans v Rams.
