GISBORNE Senior Citizens indoor bowlers found their fours, trios, pairs and singles champions in two-life competitions held over three months.

Starting in August, play took place on the second Wednesday of the month.

First came the fours, won by Elaine Tamblin (skip), Babe Pointon, Pat Griffin and Roy Selby.

Runners-up were May Selby (s), Alain Jorion, Kath Coates and Karen Corbett.

Winners of the trios were Elaine Tamblin (s), Babe Pointon and Janice Fouhy.

Runners-up were John Cording (s), Pat Zame and Karen Corbett.

Pairs winners were John Cording (s) and Pat Griffin, with runners-up being Alain Jorion (s) and Kath Coates.

Rose Raggett won the singles and May Selby was runner-up.

Nancy Lewis was the winner of the aggregate trophy for the year.

Club members Betty Atkins and Colleen Dwyer won the open pairs section at the New Zealand Blind and Visually Impaired Indoor Bowls Federation national championships in Hamilton last month.
