Forget the royal wedding.

Te Puia Hot Springs members will be bowing to one of their own after Georgina Roberts was crowned Queen of the Coast at Tolaga Bay on Saturday.

Roberts carded 81-18-63 to win the overall net and was presented the Queen of the Coast trophy.

It is understood she is the first Te Puia Springs golfer to get her name on the trophy.

Her round featured a couple of birdies, including a two on the third hole.

She ended five shots ahead of Alison Maru of Mahia.

The Princess of the Coast bronze title went to Mahia’s Colleen Wesche, who shot 97-29-68.
