GISBORNE club drivers had mixed success when they made the trip to Hawke’s Bay for Meeanee Speedway’s memorial night meeting on Saturday.
Dave Hampton was second in the Hawke’s Bay streetstock championships, three points behind home track driver Brent Redington.
Anton McKay won two of the heats in the
production saloons class.
Gisborne TQ midgets driver Ryan McGregor was leading the points going into the final race for the Dusty Rhodes Memorial Trophy but finished off the pace, and Auckland’s Kaleb Currie claimed the title.
