Waikanae surf lifesaver Nathan Proctor was overlooked in Tuesday's story about the Mount Monster endurance event in which Gisborne surf lifeguards took part at the weekend.
Proctor was eventually placed third in the under-19 men's division after the organisers discovered the competitor previously recorded as third placegetter was 24 years
