Going into the last end of the Pinns’ fourth game of the day, against Alisha Ruru and Peter Mitchell, the Pinns were up 13-9.

Ruru and Mitchell held five shots as Kyle Pinn prepared to play his second bowl. Kyle indicated to Liam that he would deliver a run shot to either kill the end or reduce the number of shots their opponents held. He achieved the former, driving the jack into the ditch to clinch the win.

Kyle and Liam Pinn won Division 1 with four wins and a +31 differential.

Hoepo and Taingahue-Kora were second, with four wins and a +26 differential.

Ball, Baty and Ruru had two wins each, while Murray, McIlroy and Taingahue found wins harder to come by.
