Mercantile badminton

THE Badminton Eastland business house league started last Thursday.

Eight teams have entered this year, with some having changed names.

WSP have returned, after not playing in 2020 due to Covid-19 restrictions, and two new teams — Team IFL and A Team — have been added to the mix.

Anaura 3+1 and Slammers had some close matches. Slammers won their two matches 23-20 and 20-19.

WSP def A Team 5 matches to 1 but fixture recorded as draw; GDC Smashers def Team IFL 5 matches to 1; Anaura 3+1 def Slammers 4 matches to 2; Wananga Worx def Slammers 4 matches to 2.
