Mangapapa School finished with the most points in the primary interschool triathlon run at Nelson Park last week.

A total of 321 students from 15 schools took part in the run-bike-swim triathlon, which was organised by Mangapapa School.

Points for the day were: Mangapapa 25, Makauri 15, Wainui Beach 10, Kaiti 8, Ormond 2, Makaraka 2, Awapuni 2, Te Hapara 1 and Waerenga o Kuri 1.

Results —Teams

Year 4, girls: Kaiti 1; Mangapapa 2; Te Hapara 3. Boys: Mangapapa 1; Ormond 2; Kaiti 3.

Year 5, girls: Mangapapa 1; Awapuni 2; Makauri 3. Boys: Kaiti 1; Wainui 2; Mangapapa 3.

Year 6, girls: Wainui 1; Mangapapa 2; Kaiti 3. Boys: Makauri 1; Mangapapa 2; Te Wharau 3.
