It has not been a great season results-wise for the Gisborne Boys’ High School second 11 in the Poverty Bay club cricket competition and Saturday was no exception.
The Peter Stewart-coached side lost both of their Walker Shield twenty20 games — to High School Old Boys and Pirates.
But the
day was memorable for three fathers and their sons. Back row (from left) Malcolm Trowell, Mike Foster and Stewart, got to play alongside their sons (front from left) Nathan, Matthew and Daniel.
Stewart’s other son, Paul, is a member of the GBHS first 11 who have made it to the T20 semifinals.
They play OBR tomorrow night at Harry Barker Reserve.
