Kahutia Bowling Club will represent Bowls Gisborne-East Coast at the women's national interclub sevens finals in Wellington in April.

It was close, though. Kahutia lost two out of three games in Round 1 but had a clean sweep of wins in rounds 2 and 3. That gave them seven wins from nine games for 14 points with a plus-28 differential.

Third were Te Karaka — Marie Wright; Jasmine Merrick (s) and Diane Murray; and Del Tamanui (s), Janet Baty, Erica Thompson and Janine Waititi — with seven points and a minus-5 differential.
