Gisborne superstock racer Tyler James (above, on the left), on board 89G, produced the best of the ‘G’ car results from drivers who raced out of town over the Easter weekend.

James finished runner-up in the Hawke’s Bay Superstock Championships at Meeanee in Napier.

Saloon racer Sean Robertson (16G) won a race in Rotorua but was not able to feature overall, while the best of the youth ministock drivers who raced over two nights in Hawke’s Bay was Koby Gooch (59G). He finished eighth overall in the East Coast Ministock Championships.
