The highest individual score made in the Junior Colts Grade on either side of Christmas, 11-year-old Caleb's knock was the first Colts Grade half-century since the resumption.

He retired during the course of his innings having faced 30 balls but as the first of three “retirees”, returned to the wicket by right — batsmanship intact — timing and placing the ball skilfully.
