Eastland Kart Club's fun meeting on Sunday was the last hit-out before the club champs this weekend.

In the mixed-class race at the end of the day, Shanan Gooch finished strongly from the back of the field to take the win.

Second place went to Spring Thomson with his KT, and third went to young gun Hamish Worsnop, who drove his stationary-engine kart well.

Harley Davis, with his 270 stationary-engine kart, was fourth. New driver Jake Callaghan, in fifth place, took to karting like a duck to water.

Three groups of karts had five 10-lap races each.
