Marty Reynolds did not just break a century for the first time in well over a year last Thursday; he shattered it.
The left-hander, who has played only 9-hole golf this year, made his first 18-hole effort of 2022 one to remember — 94-30-64, for 44 points. Not surprisingly it won him the division 2 men's stableford.
Cliff Poole broke his age for the second time this year on Saturday and Tene Goldsmith threatened to do the same
Poole, 80, won the division 1 men's net with 78-11-67, for 41 points, while Goldsmith, 75, was second with 76-8-68, for 40.

A BIRDIE on the 18th took down the Poverty Bay Open champion as a couple of men's Handicap Cup finals were decided in wet and windy conditions on Sunday.
Peter Stewart played some quality golf on his way to winning the Holmes Cup senior division handicap matchplay final against Anaru Reedy.
Fresh from winning the coveted Poverty Bay men's open crown at the Awapuni Links course, Reedy found himself 2-down after nine holes after Stewart went out in 1-under 35.
Reedy fought back and the pair teed off the 18th locked all-square.
It was always going to take something a little special to decide this one and Stewart delivered, putting his second shot to 12 foot from the pin and sinking the birdie putt.
The Chrisp Cup junior final was even tighter. Jordon Coppen and Glyn Williams were square after nine holes and halved the next seven.
Coppen won the 17th to edge ahead, Williams squared the ledger on the 18th, to send it to sudden-death — Coppen clinching the title on the 19th.
The President's Cup intermediate final between Wayne Carpendale and Matt Henwood was to be played some time this week.
The Digg It Gizzy top 10 twilight shootout finalists will be confirmed today.
Several players have already sealed a place in the final but others near or on the cusp still had the chance to snatch a place.
Heading into today's final qualifying opportunity, Matt Henwood led the standings with an average of 19.60 points, followed by Dave Rameka on 18.90, Mike Christophers and Anthony Pahina on 18.80, Craig Christophers 18.60, Steve Phillips 18.40, Neil Hansen and Shannon Toa 19.10, Darrell Gregory on 17.80 and Shaun Pahina and Pete Stewart 10th-equal on 17.60.
Three players were within 0.30 of 10th and if there was a tie for 10th, the last place was to be decided by a putt-off.
