THE Te Kanawa Cup men's pairs defending champions are back for another crack under a team name that won't be fooling their opposition.
Anaru Reedy and greenkeeper Pete Tamatea, aka Master n' Disaster, have reignited their combination.
Last year they combined brilliantly to clinch one of the most prestigious pieces of silverware in Park history.
Reedy, off his +2.9 handicap, is clearly the “Master” while Tamatea may claim to be the “Disaster” but played an equal part in last year's success.
The field, which features other team names such as Boil-Ups (Danny Boyle and son Zane), the Toe Knees (Tony Leggett/Tony Akroyd) and Rolls Royce (Steve and son Zach Rolls) are vying for the top 16 spots and have this month to post their designated 18-hole qualifying best-ball stableford score.
May the best men win.
