Gisborne Rowing Club members have qualified for four A finals of the NZ Rowing Championships to be raced tomorrow.

Finalists are the men's senior four of Oscar Ruston, Sacha Dewancker, Alex Hyland and James Brott, men's senior pair of Hyland and Brott, men's club pair of Dewancker and Ruston and the men's club eight of Dewancker, Ruston, Hyland, Aaron Maxwell, Thom Simmons, Lewis Green, Ben McCosh and Joshua Kelly.

Simmons is also competing in a composite crew with Hawke's Bay Rowing Club and has qualified for the A final.

The club four of Simmons, McCosh, Kelly and Green will race a repechage later today for a second chance to make the A final.

The club sent 10 local rowers to Twizel to compete after stellar performances at the North Island club champs in January.
