The Waikato Show Hunter Summer Show was held on February 12 and 13, with several Gisborne riders taking part.
Georgie Coop and Billy the Kid were the winners of the 12-and-under rider equitation.
Molly McEwan and her two ponies had much success. She and Buffalo Man were second in the Category A Welcome Hunter 70cm, fourth in the Category A 70cm Classic and second in the 12-and-under rider equitation.
Merran Hain and Untouchable were placed sixth in the horse high points and third in the 1m horse.
Feilding held a show on February 19 and 20.
Merran and Untouchable were second in the show hunter horse high points, fifth in the 1m show hunter and fourth in the amateur rider.

On Barney Rubble, Georgie was third in the Category B 80cm and, on Little MacIntosh, fifth in the pony showjumping 80cm.
Sam Brooks and The Tontonator had some great results in the showjumping. They were third in the 85cm, second in the 90cm and fourth in the 95cm.

On Floriant DHU, Larina was third in the horse 1.35m showjumping.
As previously reported, Larina made the most of her time in the South Island. On Kiwi Lansing she won the South Island Speed Championships and the Pro Am title.
On Floriant DHU, she was sixth in the Mini Prix.
At the New Zealand Jumping and Show Hunter Championships, Larina and Kiwi Lansing won Round A of the 1.20m championships and finished second overall. They were also second in the Pro Am class.
The Horse of the Year Show was to be held from March 8 to 13 but has been cancelled for the second year running.
Several jumping groups have stepped up to run additional, smaller pop-up shows around the country to give riders some competition as the end of the season approaches.
