Bowls Gisborne East-Coast has named its senior rep teams to play Bowls Waiariki at Ohope Bowling Club on Saturday and Bay of Plenty's senior rep team at Whakatane Bowling Club on Sunday.

Senior men: Charlie Ure, Tim Sherriff and Steve Goldsbury (Gisborne); Andrew Ball and Steve Berezowski (Poverty Bay); John Dawson and Willy Murray (Te Karaka); Ben Elkington and Marcus Merrick (Tolaga Bay). Merrick will play only on Sunday against Bay of Plenty. The manager is Tim Sherriff.

Senior women: Carol Hawes and Tanya Harrison (Gisborne); Dayvinia Mills (Kahutia), Mere Nepia, Jessie Law and Lesley Seymour (Poverty Bay); Jasmine Merrick (Te Karaka), Sharon Olsen (Tolaga Bay) and Glenda Kapene (Wairoa). Selector is Bobbie Beattie and manager, Anita Vaotuua. Dayvinia Mills will play only on Sunday at Whakatane Bowling Club.

The Gisborne East-Coast junior teams will play the annual Intercentre fixture against Bay of Plenty's junior teams at Whakatane Bowling Club on Sunday.

Junior women: Karen Pinn, Joy McFarlane, Adrienne Torrie and Libby Clay (Gisborne), Win Baker and Anna Colvin (Poverty Bay), Erica Thompson and Alicia Ruru (Te Karaka). Selector/manager is Sarah Brown.

Junior men: Vern Withey (Wairoa), Geoff Pinn, Peter Clay, Peter Ferris and Chris Bunyan (Gisborne), Jack Clark, John Andrews and Les Whittington (Poverty Bay). Selector/manager is Peter Walters.
