EASTLAND are in Hawke’s Bay tomorrow for the first ties of their inter-association North Island veterans division 3 campaign.

Eastland face North Harbour 3 in the morning and Counties Manukau 1 in the afternoon. Eastland finished sixth in the 2015 competition while North Harbour were seventh. Counties Manukau were relegated from division 2.

The Eastland team are Alan Ledger, Linda White and Annabel Riwaka (Patutahi) and Sonia Jones from Gisborne Club. The team also feature several Hawke’s Bay loan players — Wayne Feck, who played for Eastland last year, Brian Boyd, Linda Watson and Tony Bloomfield.

Ra Leach was not considered for selection due to injury and Ron Prebble, Kevin Taylor and Sheree Gray were unavailable.

Wellington-based Matheus Batlajeri is the non-travelling reserve.
