THE Poverty Bay premier club rugby final at Rugby Park highlighted another busy Saturday of sport in Gisborne.
YMP and Waikohu turned on a fitting finale to the competition, with YMP triumphing 28-24.
Not far away, on the turf at Harry Barker Reserve, YMP A women and Gisborne Girls' High
School locked sticks in Poverty Bay women's club hockey.
It was another YMP victory — 5-1.
Earlier, Gisborne Boys' High School first 15 came up against a formidable St Peter's College team at the Rectory, the visitors winning 42-5.
