The Gisborne Financial Services Ltd Poverty Bay Sailing Champs was evenly contested in the Bay over the weekend.

Saturday’s racing was postponed after one fast race as a southerly squall came through and caused some damage to boats.

Sailing on Sunday was in challenging lighter conditions that spread the results evenly in both the Laser and Open Bic classes. Results in tomorrow’s paper. Picture by Paul Rickard
