Tickets have gone on sale for next month’s Tairawhiti sports awards.

The Bronwyn Kay Agency Sporting Excellence Awards will be held on Friday, November 8, at Showgrounds Event Centre.

Sport Gisborne Tairawhiti chief executive Stefan Pishief said the event would be a celebration of the region’s sporting achievements from the past 12 months.

“It’s a highlight of the year to come together and celebrate the amazing achievements of the elite athletes in our region, along with those tireless individuals behind the scenes who help our sporting sector to thrive.”

The awards ceremony features 41 finalists across 13 categories.
