The strong start to the season by Gisborne speedway sidecar duo Rob Miller and Red George continued at the weekend when they won the feature race and one of the other heats at the Palmerston North track on Saturday night.
The 8P pair went around the outside to out-ride local
combination Tony Hislop and Matt Stewart (17P) in the feature race.
Miller and George won the Ray Tarrant Memorial in Palmy last month and the West Coast championship in Whanganui.
The pair will be racing in Gisborne this weekend in their build-up to the New Zealand sidecar championships at Eastland Group Raceway mid-January.
