Opinion

Councillor Foster, in the Monday column, gives figures for the additional costings for the Endeavour models which included $8000 plus GST for resource consent. Really? The models are a community enterprise supported by the council. Many in the community have donated.

The council should waive this fee. It supports having the models. So do many in the community.

Council should waive the fee, which seems a lot anyway.
