Turanga Health kaimahi (staff) will host another vaccination drive-through service at Te Wai-o-Hiharore (the railway station) on Sunday.

Vaccinations will be provided to the public in the comfort of their own waka amid a friendly atmosphere with kai, hot drinks, music and prizes.

It is all part of Turanga Health’s  commitment to the health and wellbeing of whānau in Tūranganui-a-Kiwa.

The health agency says flu and Covid-19 vaccinations are essential in limiting the effects caused by both viruses that are still present within the community especially in vulnerable populations such as tamariki, kaumātua, hapū māmā, and people with certain health conditions.

The drive-through vaccination service will operate from 10am to 1pm.
