CRASH: One of two vehicles being removed from the scene of a two-vehicle crash on Awapuni Road this morning. Police were alerted to the crash near Commerce Place at about 7.15am. Traffic management was in place while the scene was cleared. St John responded with one ambulance and a rapid response vehicle. Two people were assessed and treated at the scene. A two-vehicle crash on Awapuni Road led to tailbacks and traffic congestion this morning.
A police spokesperson said police were alerted to a crash involving at least two vehicles on Awapuni Road, near Commerce Place, at about 7.15am.
“Traffic management was in place while the scene was cleared, and both vehicles have
