Simon and Josi Beamish and Hugo and Pip Beamish of Awapai Station in the WhanaWhana Valley near Hastings were last week announced as the Supreme Winners of 2024 East Coast Ballance Farm Environment Awards.

They will open up their property (pictured above) in a field day on Tuesday, April 16.

As well the top award the family won the Ballance Agri-Nutrients Soil Management Award Beef + Lamb New Zealand Livestock Farm Award, Hill Laboratories Agri-Science Award and the NZFET Innovation Award.

The judges have pointed to the “high standard” of entrants this year.
