It’s green for go for the Year 5 boys in Makauri School’s triathlon. Pictures by Liam Clayton

Makauri School’s triathlon was an event for all students. The entire school — from years 0 to 6 — took part in the event, which featured a cycle and run on the Bikes in Schools track and a swim leg in the pool.

The top performers in certain year groups will wear the school colours at the inter-primary schools tri at Nelson Park on March 27.

The Makauri winners were —

Y6 girls, Tylar Dear; Y6 boys, Xavier Booker; Y5 girls, Ella Bruce-Hills; Y5 boys, Harry McPhail; Y4 girls, Lucy Spence; Y4 boys, Brody Bell; Y3 girls, Marlee Wallace; Y3 boys, Lucas Atkins; Y2 girls, Ruby Draffan; Y2 boys, Xavier Dear; Y1 girls, Lani Bokser; Y1 boys, Jasper Whye; Y0 girls, Holley Murray; Y0 boys, Blue Lovelock.
