Sessions set down for the opening to the public of the new Kiwa Pools this weekend have been booking fast, according to Gisborne District Council.

The pool will be open for two hours at a time with a limit of 200 people per session.

The session start times are 8am, 10.30am, 1pm, 3.30pm and 6pm both Saturday and Sunday.

“We want you all to have the opportunity to come and have some fun at the new pools,” the council said on social media.

“The limit on admissions is just for opening weekend, so everyone has a great experience with it not being too crowded.
