The annual Spring Show in October produced the biggest gate in a decade with just over 18,000 people in attendance over the two days.

“The event was a great success with the weather playing its part. It was so good to see the entire community enjoying a great weekend together with lots of smiling and happy faces,” said A&P Association general manager Erica McNeil.

“After the unsettling three years with Covid and Cyclone Gabrielle the community deserved a typical Spring Show, with sunburn and wind — something we have not experienced for the last few shows.”
