New ports for old tugs

The arrival of Eastland Port's new tugs from China — the Ika Nui and the Maki — has resulted in new duties for previous harbour tugboats Waimata and Titirangi.

The port company has sold Titirangi alongside port vessel Rere Moana and Maki.

Titirangi is to depart next week for Vanuatu while the Waimata has been chartered to Port of Napier.
