Twenty-four newly-official New Zealanders took part in a citizenship ceremony at Gisborne Council Chambers last week. They were then sworn in by Mayor Rehette Stoltz and joined her for a photograph. They are Ann Margaret Bjerring and Jane Margaret Kibble from England,  Margaret Ann Bradley from Northern Ireland, Marise De Kock, George Keith Tester, Jeanne Tester, Chris Marku Tester, Janko Lional Tester from South Africa, Isabelle-Marie Girod from Germany, Stacey Louise Hulls from United Kingdom, Grace Ocampo Ilarde and Bryan Jessie Portillo Ilarde from Philippines, Serah Ann Jinesh from Saudi Arabia, Asha John, Jinesh Menachery Joseph, Shaju Kolothodi, Vipitha Vellangal Vasu from India, Heather Anne Maude and Lennaert Derek Vanbeelen from Canada, Wilhelm Marc Martha Ruelens, Lien Ruelens, Emma Ruelens and Elke Saeys from Belgium.
