THE Golden Princess ended its cruise season to Gisborne on a high yesterday and attention now switches to a new ship on the horizon tomorrow.
The Noordam from the Holland America Line should make its maiden visit to Poverty Bay tomorrow morning.
“Wind and swell size conditions look ideal at
this stage but the wind is expected to increase in the afternoon,” a port official said.
“Nothing is going to stop that ship coming in tomorrow.”
It is the same size as the Golden Princess but carries fewer passengers.
