The massive $10 million-plus Lotto win that came the way of someone who bought a ticket in Wairoa was claimed on Monday afternoon.

The winners went to Lotto HQ in Wellington to collect their winnings.

The ticket was sold at Wairoa’s New World supermarket.

The winners told Stuff they were looking forward to helping their family with the win.

There has been no word on whether or not they were a Wairoa couple, or someone passing through who bought their ticket in the town.

Two other Lotto players won $333,333 on Saturday’s live Lotto draw.
