Two months after winning the East Coast Open Anaru Reedy added the King of the Coast golf crown to his collection yesterday.

In a repeat of the EC Open at Te Puia Springs, Electrinet Park member Reedy defeated Poverty Bay Golf Club greenkeeper William Brown in the matchplay final at Tolaga Bay.

Reedy was too good, winning 5 and 4 in the afternoon final.

In the morning semis, Reedy beat Patutahi's Dwayne Russell 2 and 1 while Brown beat Poverty Bay's Thomas Donovan 3 and 2.
