We deserve an indoor sports facility.
There was such a huge turnout yesterday for the opening of the new Kiwa Pools, where our Mayor stated “our community deserves a complex like this”.
Our community also deserves an indoor facility where we can cater for multiple sports codes and events. Wedeserve to proudly host others to our region in a facility that is up to standard and fit for the purpose. We deserve to be on par with communities, some smaller than Gisborne, that have beautiful indoor sports complexes already.
So, yes, our community does deserve the new pools but we NEED an indoor sports complex even more. I can’t wait for that opening day.
