We are visiting your lovely region and were privileged to be taken on a tour of the Kiwa Pools complex by Mr Campbell Macgregor.
As we entered the building and he explained the meaning of the green stone in the entrance hall, and the interpretation of the beautiful wooden carvings
on the ceiling, we were filled with so much respect for the Māori culture. We found the whole complex welcoming and it was heart-warming to see the families with their kids enjoying themselves. We were impressed with every area of the layout of the different pools but most of all with the therapy pool.
We would like to congratulate Gisborne on this world-class facility and thank Mr Macgregor for his time to explain the layout and future plans for the complex. We hope that every resident gets to experience the beautiful pools.
