The story of missing sheepdog Bella has a happy ending as she and her owners were reunited yesterday.

The Gisborne Herald shared the plight of Bella, an 11-month-old beardie huntaway cross, who somehow got out of her box on a stock truck travelling the East Coast on Wednesday.

Bay of Plenty owners Kerry and Chantal Lane said they were relieved to be reunited.

“Some wonderful locals found her and took her in for the night. They made contact with me and we are very grateful for your help and the communities in helping find her,” Mrs Lane said.
