REDUCE REUSE RECYCLE: Mere Boynton and Amanda Maclean perform “the Green Factor” to kids at Wainui School, a play aiming to raise environmental awareness. Pictures by Paul Rickard

“THE Green Factor” performed at Wainui School is part of the waste education programme the Council delivers to schools in Gisborne.

During the performance, rubbish is juggled and waste is converted into different contraptions. Other schools in this region will host the show during the next week.
