Gisborne was placed seventh in the team standings after Tuesday’s second day of competition, with Bay of Plenty in the top spot so far.

Team points standings after Tuesday’s Day 2:  Bay of Plenty, 11310, 1; Auckland, 11440,2; Canterbury,  10865,3; Coromandel, 10780,4; Northland, 10350,5; Otago, 10048,6; Gisborne, 10040,7; Waikato, 9990,8;  Hawkes Bay, 9090,9; Taranaki,8860,10; Wellington, 4765, 11.
